Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Advise the Management Board, Management and Head of Departments on statutory requirements and relevant rules and regulations issued by the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain statutory records of the Company that comply with statutory requirements
  • Attend to the necessary to assist the Management in their compliance of the relevant statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and/or review Management Board and General Shareholders Meeting’s resolutions of the Company.
  • Attend Management Board, Inspection Committee and General Shareholders Meeting’s meetings of the Company.
  • Draft contractual documents for the subsidiaries, associates and other divisions of the company.
  • Vet contractual documents drafted by the departments and associates for legal compliance and commercial implications.
  • Liaise with external law firms and vet documentation prepared by them, for complicated matters.
  • Handle all claims of the group and depending on the complexity of such matters, liaise with the external lawyers and all relevant parties to ensure that the claims are resolved to the best possible advantage of the group.
  • Advise on any legal or contractual matters which may arise.
  • To ensure compliance of the Company with all statutory requirements and guidelines issued by relevant authorities governing public listed Company.
  • Advise and inform the Management of any changes in any statutory positions and
    compliance thereof.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in real estate developer, MNC.
  • Communication, Critical thinking, logical thinking, collaborative.
  • Reliable, honest.
